Customer Safety
Checklist
Always read the manufacturer's instructions before you attempt to fit your seat (this
is especially important when moving the seat from one car to another).
Always check the harness every time the seat is used. Any slack drastically reduc- }
es the protection provided by the seat. To establish a correct fit, you should be
able to fit just two fingers between the harness and your child’s chest.
No child seat is child proof; teach your child never to play with the buckle or release
themselves from the harness.
!
if your child seat is involved in an accident it should be replaced immediately. |
Always remove thick clothes before placing your child in the seat. Thick clothes :
could make the harness less effective.
f
Check the condition of the vehicle seat belt. If there i is evidence of damage or fray-
ing, remove seat and place in the next suitable location.

|
Always ensure your child seat is secured via a belt or Isofix, even if your child is not
travelling with you. Loose objects can be dangerous in collisions.
2 itm pe
Ensure there are no twists in your seatbelt. A twist could potentially cause the seat
belt to unseat itself from the routing guides in an impact.
CHILD SEAT CUSTOMER ADVICE
REAR FACING CHILD SEATS
Child must remain rear facing until their head is in line with the top of the child
seat and they can sit unaided for 20 minutes.
Rear facing child seats must not be placed in the front passenger seat with
Airbags activated. Our colleagues will not activate/deactivate airbags.
GROUPS
Child must remain in Group 1 child seat until their eyes are in line with the top of
the child seat, or they exceed the weight limit of the seat.
High Back Boosters are recommended over Cushion Boosters if you require a
Group 2 or 3. This is due to the increased side & head protection on High Back
Boosters.
